In Friday's non-league test, the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) basketball squad knocked off the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), by a score of 87-78.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 26. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 19-12 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 17-12 record after their 66-60 league win over Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).
The Knights (13-16) will now prepare for their test against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons come into the non-league test with a 21-10 record. In their last test, Schaumburg beat Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 65-40, in a non-league test.
