The The Vanguard School Coursers bounced the visiting Rye Thunderbolts basketball squad by a final score of 85-48 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Coursers face the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks outing, on Monday, February 24. The Vanguard School will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 14-6 record after their 58-48 league win over Ellicott (Calhan, CO).

The Thunderbolts (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Crowley County (Ordway, CO). The Chargers enter the non-league outing with a 18-2 record. In their last outing, Crowley County routed Fowler (Fowler, CO), 66-34, in a league outing.
