New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Mary holds off Westwood

The St. Mary Gaels basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Westwood Cardinals to 50 in the Gaels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Gaels now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Morristown-Beard for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. St. Mary will confront a Crimson team coming off a 60-46 league win over Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Crimson record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Westwood falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 7-9.
