Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutton knocks off Superior

February 21, 2025: Sutton, NE 68979

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) and the visiting Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE), observed Sutton's basketball team overcome Superior by a margin of 64-45.

The Mustangs (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South Loup (Arnold, NE). The come into the C2 District 9 challenge with a 18-4 record. In their last challenge, South Loup defeated Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE), 62-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 24. Superior will attempt to better on its 1-21 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 57-36 non-league loss to Archangels Catholic (Humphrey, NE).
