In Friday's non-league contest, the host Dover Green Wave basketball team scored a close 49-46 triumph over the Keene Blackbirds.
The Green Wave (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pinkerton (Derry, NH). The Astros go into the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Pinkerton nipped Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH), 53-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blackbirds confront the Londonderry Lancers (Londonderry, NH) in a Division I contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Keene will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 19-2 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Bedford (Bedford, NH).
