The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) and the host Hanover Bears (Hanover, NH), observed Milford's basketball team overwhelm Hanover by a score of 59-28.
The Spartans (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH). The Cavaliers come into the Division II challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Hollis-Brookline was routed by Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH), 61-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Hanover will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Derryfield (Manchester, NH).
