The Porter-Gaud Cyclones soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Wade Hampton Generals to 0 in the Cyclones non-league victory on Friday.
The Cyclones now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cane Bay for a non-league bout on Sunday, February 23. Porter-Gaud will play a Cobras squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over James Island (Charleston, SC). The Cobras record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Wade Hampton moves to 1-1 on the year. The Generals travel to South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to play the Thoroughbreds in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 22. The Thoroughbreds go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
