California High School Baseball - Highland held off by Santa Monica

Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA), 9-7 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Santa Monica moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Windward (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Bulldogs now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patriot for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. Highland will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Jurupa Hills (Fontana, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
