With the triumph, Monroe Area moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Purple Hurricanes host Seckinger (Buford, GA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-3. Seckinger 2-2 in their recent non-league test against East Jackson (Commerce, GA)

The now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarke Central for a non-league test on Monday, February 24. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy will clash with a Gladiators team coming off a 6-1 league win over Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-0.
