Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Savannah Christian moves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Tigers now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bryan County for a 1A D-II Area 3 test on Tuesday, February 25. Claxton will meet a Redskins team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 0-2.
