Sierra Vista Dons (Baldwin Park, CA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA), 8-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Sierra Vista upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Dons host Edgewood (West Covina, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25.
