The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the visiting Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL), observed Hillcrest's softball team get by Bibb County by a tally of 7-2.
The Patriots (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Choctaws battle the Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 24. Bibb County will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Thompson (Alabaster, AL).
