The Edinburg North Cougars softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Stevens Falcons to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to United South for a non-league battle on Friday, February 21. Edinburg North will confront a Panthers team coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Stevens moves to 6-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Nixon (Laredo, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, February 21. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 5-3. Nixon lost 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX)
