The Saraland Spartans softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Elberta Warriors to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryant for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. Saraland will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Fairhope (Fairhope, AL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Elberta moves to 0-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 22. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Baldwin County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Fairhope (Fairhope, AL)
