The St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) softball overwhelmed the visiting Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA), 11-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 21. St. John will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Cubs go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 25-6 non-league win over Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA).
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Central Lafourche toppled De La Salle (New Orleans, LA), 13-9, in a non-league challenge.
