In Friday's non-league test, the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), by a tally of 15-0.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 22. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Green Wave go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 13-5 non-league win over Holden (Holden, LA).
The Tarpons (0-2) will now prepare for their test against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, East Ascension was routed by Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA), 5-3, in a non-league test.
