In Saturday's non-league game, the host Hesperia Scorpions baseball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Palmdale Falcons.
The Scorpions (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Eisenhower (Rialto, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Eisenhower was tipped by Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA), 8-5, in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Claremont Wolfpack (Claremont, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 24. Palmdale will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Barstow (Barstow, CA).
