The Johnson Jaguars softball squad (Buda, TX), was routed 8-3 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX)

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Harlan (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks go into the 6A Region IV District 28 bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Harlan was routed by Brennan (San Antonio, TX), 5-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout, on Tuesday, February 24. Johnson will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX).
