In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Venice Indians baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Barron Collier Cougars.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL). The Thunder go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Out-of-Door Academy tipped DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL), 8-1, in a non-league game.
