In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Cottonwood Bears (Cottonwood, AL), by a margin of 25-0.
With the triumph, Wicksburg moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 26. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Enterprise won 11-2 in their recent non-league contest against Charles Henderson (Troy, AL)
In their next game, the Bears play the Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 24. Cottonwood will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Houston Academy (Dothan, AL).
