Cocoa Beach Minutemen (Cocoa Beach, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Melbourne Bulldogs (Melbourne, FL), 14-5 in a non-league battle.
The Minutemen now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockledge for a non-league battle on Monday, February 28. Cocoa Beach will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 0-3.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Tohopekaliga Tigers (Kissimmee, FL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 25. Melbourne will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 5-0 record after their 13-10 non-league win over Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL).
