The Johnson Atomsmashers lacrosse squad (Savannah, GA), was overwhelmed 19-5 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA)
Coming up next, the Hornets meet the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a 1A-5A Area 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 24. Savannah Country Day will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC).
The Atomsmashers now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Richmond Hill for a 1A-5A Area 8 challenge on Wednesday, March 2. Johnson will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
