The Vero Beach Indians lacrosse squad scored 12 points and restricted the host King's Academy Lions to 9 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jensen Beach for a non-league battle on Friday, February 25. Vero Beach will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 11-0 league win over John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Lions encounter the St. John Paul II Academy Eagles (Boca Raton, FL) in a 1A D13 game, on Tuesday, March 1. King's Academy will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 17-13 non-league loss to Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
