Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Monroe Area Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, March 4. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.

The Leopards now possess a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union County for a AA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 1.
