The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) and the visiting Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX), saw Columbia's softball squad nip Tidehaven by a count of 7-6.
The Roughnecks now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Danbury for a non-league match on Thursday, February 24. Columbia will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Hargrave (Huffman, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Tidehaven falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cooper (The Woodlands, TX) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Thursday, February 24. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 0-0.
