In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Oakmont Regional Spartans basketball team scored a decisive 73-42 triumph over the Auburn Rockets.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Worcester Tech Eagles (Worcester, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 24. Oakmont Regional will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 15-5 record after their 54-22 non-league win over Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA).
With the defeat, Auburn moves to 10-10 on the year.
