In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Central Chargers basketball team scored a good 67-49 triumph over the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane.
In their next game, the Chargers meet the Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 25. Central will attempt to move on its 12-15 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 22-6 record after their 72-68 non-league win over Thomson (Thomson, GA).
With the defeat, Fitzgerald moves to 12-17 on the year.
