The Gilford Golden Eagles ran past the host Hopkinton Hawks basketball team by a final score of 62-42 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Gilford will attempt to move on its 20-0 season record. The Royals enter the game with a 15-4 record after their 62-49 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH).
With the defeat, Hopkinton moves to 12-4 on the year.
