Roy Royals (Roy, UT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT), 46-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roy upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Royals travel to American Fork (American Fork, UT) to play the Cavemen in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Cavemen go into the bout with a record of 16-8. American Fork won 62-54 in their recent league bout against Skyridge (Lehi, UT)

This game is a part of the 2023 UHSAA/Mountain America Boys Basketball State Championships - 6A Boys Basketball Championship tournament
