The Laurel Spartan tipped the visiting Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles basketball team by a final score of 45-44 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartan face the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 25. Laurel will attempt to move on its 23-1 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 19-6 record after their 51-36 non-league win over Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA).
With the defeat, Keystone Oaks moves to 17-6 on the year.
