In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Tri-Valley Scotties basketball team scored a good 49-41 triumph over the Newark Wildcats.
In their next game, the Scotties meet the Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 25. Tri-Valley will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 21-4 record after their 68-46 non-league win over Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH).
With the defeat, Newark moves to 13-9 on the year.
