In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Westerville South Wildcats basketball team scored a good 61-41 triumph over the Teays Valley Vikings.
In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Olentangy Liberty Patriots (Powell, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 25. Westerville South will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 23-2 record after their 36-23 non-league win over Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH).
With the defeat, Teays Valley moves to 17-8 on the year.
