In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Alexander Cougars soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Wesleyan Wolves.
The Cougars (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Panthers come into the 6A Region 5 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Langston Hughes was nudged by Tri-Cities (East Point, GA), 8-2, in a non-league battle.
The Wolves (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Greater Atlanta Christian nudged Tucker (Tucker, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
