Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Shreveport, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minden for a 4A District 1 game on Tuesday, March 14.
In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 27. Southwood will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Gators come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 12-8 non-league loss to Red River (Coushatta, LA).
