The Belle Chasse Cardinals crushed the host East Jefferson Warriors baseball team by a count of 14-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponchatoula for a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. Belle Chasse will face a Green Wave team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Green Wave record now stands at 0-2.
Next, the Warriors face the Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 24. East Jefferson will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Destrehan (Destrehan, LA).
