Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ), 72-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Barnegat upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Quakers come into the bout with a record of 19-8. Moorestown won 63-38 in their recent non-league bout against Deptford (Deptford, NJ)
