The Beta Academy Fighters basketball team (Houston, TX), was nudged 60-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Founders Classical Academy Hoplites (Schertz, TX)

The Hoplites now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bob Hope for a non-league battle on Friday, February 23. Founders Classical Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-66 league win over Harmony School of Innovation (Katy, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 22-7.

The Fighters (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Compass Rose Legacy (San Antonio, TX). The Polar Bears come into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Compass Rose Legacy was nudged by Harmony School of Innovation (Katy, TX), 61-54, in a non-league battle.
