Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN), 51-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southridge upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to North Daviess (Elnora, IN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 15-8. North Daviess won 43-35 in their recent non-league bout against Sullivan (Sullivan, IN)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats (Evansville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 27. Boonville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 10-13 record after their 61-35 non-league win over Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN).
