In their next game, the Blackcats face the Crab Orchard Trojans (Marion, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 23. Goreville will attempt to move on its 30-3 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 22-7 record after their 78-42 non-league win over Egyptian (Tamms, IL).
With the defeat, Cairo moves to 8-20 on the year.
