With the victory, Caverna improves its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY) to confront the Hawks in a District 18 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 19-8. Larue County won 62-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY)

The Hornets now own a 10-20 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe County for a District 16 test on Sunday, February 25. Metcalfe County will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 82-74 non-league win over Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 15-13.
