Central Wolves (Bay City, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI), 66-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 2-19 on the season. The Wolves host Heritage (Saginaw, MI) to clash with the Hawks in a Saginaw Valley bout on Friday, February 23. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Heritage won 80-40 in their recent league bout against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI)

Next up, the Lightning clash with the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Friday, February 23. Lapeer will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 80-40 league loss to Heritage (Saginaw, MI).
