The Union County Braves basketball team (Morganfield, KY), was overwhelmed 86-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY)
The Panthers now possess a 23-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apollo for a District 9 battle on Tuesday, February 27. Daviess County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 17-13.
The Braves (12-14) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 17-12 record. In their last battle, Dawson Springs trounced Community Christian (Paducah, KY), 89-46, in a non-league battle.
