The Menominee Maroons basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Gibraltar Vikings to 24 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Maroons now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tournament Team for a non-league contest on Monday, February 26. Menominee will battle a team coming off a 68-61 non-league win over Northside Lions (Indianapolis, IN). The record now stands at 6-23.
The Vikings (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Hilbert (Hilbert, WI). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Hilbert triumphed over Sheboygan Christian (Sheboygan, WI), 38-36, in a non-league contest.
