Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hallsville Indians (Hallsville, MO), 68-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Smith-Cotton upgrades its record to 6-20 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO) to play the Bruins in a Central Missouri bout on Thursday, February 29. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 17-5. Rock Bridge won 47-29 in their recent league bout against Helias (Jefferson City, MO)
