The Whitley County Colonels basketball team (Williamsburg, KY), was toppled 85-72 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY)
The Black Bears now possess a 27-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middlesboro for a District 52 battle on Tuesday, February 27. Harlan County will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 73-48 non-league loss to Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-19.
The Colonels (20-9) will now prepare for their battle against South Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals come into the District 50 battle with a 18-9 record.
