The Le Sueur-Henderson Giants basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers to 57 in the Giants non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Giants now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league contest on Monday, February 26. Le Sueur-Henderson will battle a Clippers team coming off a 76-65 non-league loss to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN). The Clippers record now stands at 11-15.
The Panthers (3-26) will now prepare for their contest against Medford (Medford, MN). The Tigers enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Medford was routed by Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN), 56-39, in a league contest.
