The Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans basketball team (Nashwauk, MN), was toppled 92-78 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN)

The Hilltoppers now possess a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesabi East for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 24. Marshall will confront a Giants team coming off a 91-42 non-league loss to Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Giants record now stands at 10-16.

The Spartans (7-20) will now prepare for their battle against Hill City (Hill City, MN). The Hornets come into the A Section 7 battle with a 9-15 record. In their last battle, Hill City was toppled by Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN), 74-66, in a league battle.
