In their next game, the Comets face the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 23. West Carter will attempt to move on its 8-18 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 8-22 record after their 104-67 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).

With the defeat, Menifee County moves to 9-19 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to face the Vikings in a District 61 game on Tuesday, February 27. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 20-10. Rowan County won 73-63 in their recent non-league game against Russell (Russell, KY)
