The Monroe County Falcons topped the host Somerset Christian Cougars basketball team by a final score of 82-74 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a District 16 game, on Sunday, February 25. Monroe County will attempt to move on its 15-13 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 10-20 record after their 77-61 non-league loss to Caverna (Horse Cave, KY).

With the defeat, Somerset Christian moves to 8-19 on the year.
