Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans (Twin Valley, MN), 79-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Perham upgrades its record to 8-15 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN) to play the Vikings in a AA Section 8 bout on Friday, February 23. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 20-3. Pelican Rapids won 62-43 in their recent non-league bout against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN)

Next up, the Titans play the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Friday, February 23. Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 21-7 record after their 68-64 league loss to Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN).
